Well I think David and I have hit a milestone recently. We have been down to 1 car for many reasons, most of all budgetary. We were planning on getting a second car sometime around next month (mid-October) so David wouldn't have to ride the bus or trax everywhere with me getting the privilege of driving the truck. With some unexpected hitches coming up in our plan, we had to start looking around again at what we wanted. If you have met David or know how long his legs are I'm sure will understand that we can't just have any car. After looking through available cars that we were interested in I started worrying a lot about expenses and when that happens I tend to get emotional. David is still learning how to cope with me when I'm like this.
Anyway, yesterday David told me that he doesn't think we need another car. He said he was okay with riding the bus and trax. He knows the schedule down pat and he would rather save the money and avoid the stress. He said that we can look again in a year and see what our situation is like. I had to really ask him if he meant it and it wasn't just a response to my emotions, he was sincere.
When he said that, it was like I had a screw in my head that was pulled out and it was so relieving. I think this is a big milestone for us. We're learning how to make big decisions together and give and get until we are at an understanding. I could tell that this experience only made the love between us grow. We had one of the best nights just being stress free.
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy right now.

It is great when two great minds can de-stress in a decision. Love ya, M
don't you just love compromise!!! : )
K so I was looking at the guiness book of records 2009 online and there is the tallest married couple. The man is 7ft and the woman 6'5. You guys are so close to being the tallest couple! I think if one of you could grow an inch you could beat them!
Peace of mind is priceless. I think you both made a good choice on this one.
