Last days of North Carolina

Okay, I really need to finish this trip so I can get on to what life is like now.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday we just hung out around Charlotte/Matthews.  It was so nice to just relax and stay in one area for a little while.  The families we stayed with were so accomodating.

We visited the Bro Henry while he was at work and his family came and joined us for a little while.  Don't they have super cute kids??  They were so much fun to talk to.

These are 2 members that David taught and are now baptized very strong members of the Church.  They were SO excited to see David.  Seeing people love him so much never gets tiring for me.

The Witcher family was gracious enough to let us stay with them in Matthews.  They took such good care of us.  Had little shampoos and conditioners out ready for us.  They really are a fun family to hang out with.

On Sunday the Stake President was at the Matthews Ward and noticed that David was at church so at the end of all the speakers of course he asked David to come up and share his testimony.  It was so neat to see the love David has for that area still and how grateful the members were to have him around.

The trip was so awesome.  I am so glad we were able to set some money and time apart to make sure we got to experience that before life got too crazy for us.  David was MVP in getting everything set up and making sure he kept everything within the budget I gave him.  We had such a great time and I know North Carolina will have a special place in both of our hearts now.
