Tuesday night the Utes had a game against TCU. The game that everyone was counting on David to break the career block record. Well, its a good thing you can count on David! Yeah, he tied the record in the first minute or two of the game and only a few minutes later he had the record. He's a shot blocker and everyone knows it!
The game was unpredictably close and it came down to one play by TCU to try to get ahead. Well, the not-so-smart guard on TCU must have felt bigger than he was because he drove straight at David. Well, David stood his ground, the little guy tossed the ball up, and... can you guess what happened? It should be pretty easy... David blocked it of course. Its just what he does. The crowd started chanting his name "David Foster" and he got player of the game, because he is... what did I say before? Oh yeah, AMAZING. Of course he was flooded by the media after so it took forever to go home, but I'm glad he had some glory. I listened to one of the interviews online, it was great. At the end he told the guys he had to go because he had homework to do. How great is that, what a guy!
He is only a junior and has at least 3 more games this season. Imagine how far ahead he is going to be with the record after next year :)

yep - we all agree he is amazing, but he is also humble. Doesn't talk about himself - I love that young man and he loves my beautiful daughter!!!!!
I agree with Ruth. David is slow to talk about his accomplishments and so it is wonderful that he has an amazing wife to share them with us.
