I love Sundays!

I am sitting on my couch all alone waiting for David to get back from basketball events and I can't help but think of how wonderful Sundays are.  I'm listening to uplifting music with the sun streaming in through the windows and my spirit is so high right now!  Sundays are the day when I don't have to think about the things that are going on in the world around me, I can focus in on eternal truths.  I can think of the love around me, I can think of the love that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for me.  All my worries just melt because I know that If I am making the right decisions and consecrating my life to the them and the Kingdom of God then my family will be blessed.

There is endless love that everyone can partake of and I feel so blessed to know that They are there for me and my family.


I also love the family time that happens on Sundays.  All my childhood memories of Sundays are of the sun through the windows, uplifting music, modest dress, clean house, and family participation in dinner and family home evening.  To me, Sundays are never long enough because there is always so much good that can be felt and done.  That is something I will strive to have in my family.  I so look forward to the day when we welcome our little ones in with love and give them a home where they constantly feel love from their earthly and heavenly parents.  Family is a celestial concept and David and I are both very excited when the day comes to be parents of celestial beings and learn how our understanding of love only expands.

I am SO in love with my husband and our mutual feelings of what is right for our family and for our eternal progression. 

Thank you Sundays for being a special day where I am renewed and reminded of what is truly important!
