Being "poor" has its perks

I'm in a good mood today for many reasons.  I don't know about you, but tax season has yet to be a distressing thing to me.  I attribute that to still being young and "poor".  I have yet to pay the government back, yay!  Not to mention this season we got to file a joint married return which means a larger deduction.  According to the IRS, we made dirt (which we did) and therefor had a pretty decent tax refund.  It wasn't as big as I thought because I didn't start paying federal taxes at work until this year, but we'll take it!

We got the refund deposited today and our savings account is looking a shade brighter.  That gets us one more inch closer to our big saving items for this next year:

A second vehicle that fits David (relatively) but is more suited for me.
I want to give him his truck back

And something that is not a purchase but does require savings:

We're doing a great job at saving every penny we can find because we both are really anxious for both of these opportunities to come.  We have a few things that we're trying to take advantage of to get us that much closer.

Can't wait!
